“K par K Editions” was established in 1990 by Timothy Hagelstein.
Belgian performer, very popular in the 1970’s and 80’s, he played all over Belgium and in Portugal.
After having sold more than 6 million records, he left the scene in 1989 in order to devote himself to producing and publishing music.
He set up the company Caracol Music, which has for 20 years been a leader in the music bookshop business in Belgium.
In 1995, Timothy Hagelstein joined the working groups and committees of SABAM, before being elected in 2000 to the Music College of SABAM, of which he has been the administrator
since 2002.
He will also chair the Publishers Committee for two years.
K par K Editions, on behalf of Caracol Music, has produced sound branding for the Belgian national Radio 2 and Fréquence
Wallonie radio station. For 20 years, K par K Editions has also represented the catalogue of Koka Media, today part of the
Universal Group.
Numerous advertising editors have placed their confidence in K par K Editions for the control and management of
international inventories, such as Coca-Cola, L’Oréal, Fanta, Sprite, etc.
A lot of composers of music for advertising have also asked K par K Editions to look after their royalties.
Timothy Hagelstein has been able produce groups such as Abbey Road (Beatles cover), Kheops, Horus, the Fado singer, Piedade Fernandes, and numerous up and coming
groups.

In 2008, K par K Editions took over Caracol Music Group in order to bring the two publishers together and achieve greater harmony in new productions.
